Ben Sherman Plectrum collection Autumn 2012

I am slowly trying to accept the fact that summer is over. Time went by so quickly and events after events, news after news it's now time to say goodbye to the sunny memories.
Today let's have a look at Ben Sherman Plectrum collection for the coming autumn.

First of all I'd like to say that this brand has a special place in my heart. I chose this brand for one of my hardest university project and I had a really good grade. This is probably why emotionally I am so attached to Ben Sherman. The long hours of work at night and research That I had to do made me realise how much this brand is unique.

Ben Sherman is one of those British designers that works on trends and ideas but aimed to achieve something else than the competition. The clothes are stocked in other High street retailers such as TopMan and the respective flagship stores.

Started as a shirt manufacturing brand in the 60's, Ben Sherman main focus are still shirts. In fact up to today a lot of professionals in the industry refer to them as the best shirt manufacturer on the high street.
However their bottoms and outerwear are as uniquely designed and well manufactured.

It's all about British heritage with Ben Sherman and every  season the brand reinvent their image with out of the ordinary visuals.

In this plectrum collection the checked pattern is a key element as it's the signature of Ben Sherman. The colour scale is pretty dark with different shades of grey, blue and green. The trench coat are heavy, long and pretty straight. The collection set the tone for the upcoming British autumn.
